Coffee Shops

If you are a coffee drinker, then the Marble Falls area has plenty for you. There are many options with each offering something unique. They are definitely not all the same and I love them equally. If you do the coffee tour below, look for my business card! I have strategically placed in coffee shops around town :-).

The shops are listed in alphabetical order as it would be impossible, and probably unfair, to rank them. So, in no particular order, here are some great coffee houses in the Highland Lakes area:

Chocolattes - Located on Third Street, just off Main Street in historic downtown Marble Falls. This is actually three establishments in one - Oh La La which is a homey boutique type of store, Bubblicious for baby and children's clothes, and Chocolattes which is coffee, chocolate, and their signature toffee which can be found in establishments throughout the state. If you buy one thing, buy the toffee. You won't regret it.

Kynda (pronounced kin-da) - Located in Cottonwood Shores on FM 2147, this fairly new establishment has a a great vibe, great coffee, and a drive thru along to complement the inside seating. They also have food items including their excellent paninis. It is definitely worth your time to stop by this father/son coffee shop, the only stand-alone coffee shop on FM 2147.

Lazy Heron/Ragtime Oriole - Located on FM 2900 in downtown Kingsland, the Lazy Heron is a super cute little shop. They have excellent coffee to accompany some seasonal summer refresments, and great breakfast options. This is the sister store to Ragtime Oriole in Marble Falls. Ragtime Oriole is a fairly new coffee shop located on Main Street in the heart of downtown. They offer a unique selection of hot and iced coffees and some food items including a very tasty spicy Pimento cheese dip. They also support local musicians by offering them a place to showcase their talents for the patrons.

Numinous - Located on the northeast corner of 281 and 1431, Numinous is a great place to enjoy a cozy coffee. It has some terrific pastries - the cheddar-jalepeno scone is my favorite - cold beverages, and a wide variety of hot and iced coffees. It has a great indoor space that highlights local artists and writers as well as a patio that is very popular year round.

Mojo Coffee - Mojo is a drive-thru only establishment located on 281 north of town in Marble Falls with additional locations in Burnet and Lampasas. Mojo is run by high school and college students as the owner helps with their education. If you happen to be there on the first of the month, ask for a sticker. They are free, have a new design each month, and are only available until they run out, which is generally before the end of the day.
